Suicide Technocenter: Renault convicted criminal negligence
The Court of Appeal of Versailles held, Thursday, May 10, the suicide of an employee Technocentre Renault Guyancourt (Yvelines) was "due to gross negligence" by the manufacturer. It was ordered to pay 30,000 euros to the father of the deceased non-pecuniary damage. The Court awarded 5,000 euros to each of the beneficiaries to repair the damage "under the estate action." Hervé T. was found dead on January 24, 2007 in a water Technocenter room. His family thought he had been subjected to intense stress because he had not received the necessary training to the position which had been entrusted to the end of 2005. The Court ruled that Renault had not "taken the necessary measures to preserve (Hervé T.) the danger to which he was exposed." This decision proved by AFP reversed the judgment of the court cases of Social Security (Le Monde, 20 November 2010). For another suicide occurred Technocenter, justice was seen in 2009, Renault had committed "gross negligence".
